The cabin is easily accessible on the farm Rio Vista in the Melkhoutefontein district. There's a 400m gravel road which leads up to the cabin from the road that passes the farm.

From Albertinia it's 9km before the turn off to Gouritsmond. From there drive 18.5km until the Vleesbaai/Stilbaai junction and turn left to Vleesbaai. In 9.1km at the gravel roads junction turn right.

From Mosselbay side, on the N2 turn off at Fransmanskraal junction. Continue on for 19.1km past Johnnson's Post and turn left on tarmac road towards Gouritsmond. From there it is 2,3km to the turn off to the farm.
